Every time I hear someone say they don’t watch TV, they’re really proud of it. They don’t say things like, “oh, I didn’t see that,” or “I don’t watch TV.” They say things like, “I haven’t owned a television for 27 years!”

I guess part of the reason I find it annoying is that I’m trying to make friendly conversation and then I feel like I’m being judged.

I think it’s dumb that most weather forecasts talk about the lows on “Wednesday night” when they actually mean the low temp on Thursday morning, just before sunrise. Who thinks of anytime after 2 or 3 am as part of the previous day’s night? Apple’s Weather app gets this right.

Last September I paid $200 to replace the battery in my 2018 MacBook Pro. Last weekend it was completely dead. Apple is telling me it will be $678+tax to send it to a repair center. Could it cost even more to repair? I couldn’t tell from her answer.

Fix it or replace it?
