One thing I find annoying about the various App Stores from Apple is that once you buy or download an app from the store, there isn’t a way to know how much it was. Or, if you did an in-app purchase, which one you did. I guess you can dig into your account info *in the Music app* and scroll around, year by year, until you find it.
Mark that as an item I didn’t even know I had on my bucket list, ✅ completed.
I will let you know when our podcast episode interview with Bill Payne is available, part one should be next week.

If you’re going to be literal about the text of the U. S. Constitution, doesn’t that mean that Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Kentucky get left out every time it references States?
OceanGate — the scandal name is already built-in!
People’s use of language is bizarre. On one hand, they’ll do anything to shorten a name or phrase (“insta” “my Facebook” “JLo”), OTOH, they’ll use unnecessary phrases like “out and about” without thinking. Here’s an example.
“I’d expect it to take at least a few hours for [power restoration crews] to get out and about and address fallen trees and other issues.”
Are all tropical storms this year named after SCOTUS justices, or just the ones owned by billionaires?
I don’t like repeating myself, I don’t like being redundant, and I don’t like saying the same thing over and over
My father passed away in 1998. Our relationship was tough, and his passing was hard for me for the wrong reasons, not the right ones. But now, 25 years later, I’m fine about it. I’m happy to say that I’m in a good place as far as who he was and us. It’s an outgrowth of how I try to see and relate to all people.
Why I Hate Zoom
It has nothing to do with virtual meetings. I’m mostly fine with those, I just wish Zoom hadn’t become the “standard” for them.
Zoom is a terrible Mac app, and a lousy app overall.
It puts the window on top of all your other windows while you’re waiting for the meeting to start and the only way to get it out of the way is to minimize it.
It highlights buttons in dialogs but pressing return doesn’t do anything in those dialogs, forcing you to move your cursor over and click.
It doesn’t remember settings like Original Sound for Musicians or having the chat and/or participants open across launches, even for the “same” meetings.
If you’re on a free account, when your time runs out, it disconnects everyone on the meeting without warning.
There are too many options and windows when you want to log into a meeting. On top of that, if there’s an update for Zoom, I seem to remember having to do that sometimes. These always happen when I’m late.
In Texas, the governor does not have to sign a bill for it to become law.
“Upon receiving a bill, the governor has 10 days in which to sign the bill, veto it, or allow it to become law without a signature.” https://www.house.texas.gov/about-us/bill/
