I understand why videos on social media often have captions, but I can’t stand it. I find it very distracting. Sometimes when I can’t hear or understand dialog in a show I turn on captions, but I turn it off when I can because I spend the whole time reading instead of watching.
I only figured out this week that different Chipotle locations charge different amounts. That’s for pickup or in store, they charge more per item (plus delivery fees) for delivery.

I know a guy who was reasonable about the pandemic, followed the science, was cautious, etc. But he thinks the Grammys are decided by politics and promotion, only based on what he thinks he observes.
I guess many/most people have some conspiracy they believe.

Every time I hear someone say they don’t watch TV, they’re really proud of it. They don’t say things like, “oh, I didn’t see that,” or “I don’t watch TV.” They say things like, “I haven’t owned a television for 27 years!”
I guess part of the reason I find it annoying is that I’m trying to make friendly conversation and then I feel like I’m being judged.

Is anyone having trouble with the precipitation map in Apple Weather? The still map will show precip, but if I’m lucky I might get one rectangular corner of the animated map showing anything and the rest is blank. iPhone, iPad, Mac, all latest OSes. My wife’s, too.
I went to an actual bookstore yesterday and bought some actual books. I forgot how “dangerous” bookstores are. I could have left with many, many more.
